On 27 and 28 June, the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italia and LINEAPELLE, in partnership with Piattaforma Sistema Formativo Moda, realized the second edition of Milano Moda Graduate, the event dedicated to young talents of Italian fashion schools.
The event program included a series of activities, shows, talks and a final show, during which the best students, selected by a prestigious jury, showed their creations on the catwalk.
The following institutes were involved: Accademia Costume e Moda, Accademia della Moda, Accademia di Brera, AFOL Moda, Ars Sutoria, Cercal, Domus Academy, Harim - Accademia Euromediterranea, IED Moda, Istituto di Moda Burgo, Istituto Marangoni, Istituto Modartech, Istituto Secoli, NABA - Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, Politecnico Calzaturiero, Politecnico di Milano.
The following students were honored: Praeploy Sooksawee (Istituto Marangoni) and Andrea Grassi (IED), with an internship, respectively, at Missoni and Salvatore Ferragamo. Mary Martyashkina (Accademia Costume e Moda) and Jihye Min (Domus Academy) won The Vogue Talents prize.
For the section dedicated to leather creations, the finalists were: Aurora De Matteis (Istituto Secoli), Silvia Albani (NABA), Livian Rachel (AFOL Moda), Martina Micci (Istituto Marangoni), Laura Berselli (IED), Paolo Colombo (AFOL Moda), Costanza Pirazzoli (Istituto Marangoni), Federica Boetti (IED) and Azar Rajabi-Asl (Domus Academy). Fulvia Bacchi, CEO of Lineapelle, handed the jury prize to Livian Rachel (AFOL Moda) and awarded Youri Choi (IED) with the Lineapelle prize for his creation exhibited in the static presentation. Special mentions to Nabil Dhouid (Ars Sutoria ) and Hsin-Bey Lee (Domus Academy ) .
