The largest outlet in the world is about to see the light in China. It will be located in Shijiazhuang, in the Hebei province in the north of the country, about 300 km from Beijing. The China Excellent Outlets promoters - this is the name of the project - are touring the world on the hunt for emerging brands to be included in this new (and giant) complex, which will extend on an area of 2 million square meters with an estimated investment of 1.3 billion/€. The recruitment operation of "Made in Italy" labels started from Turin and it is going to visit the main cities of the peninsula in the coming weeks. The initiative was illustrated by Mario Boselli, honorary president of the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (the Italian Chamber of Fashion) and by the China Excellent Outlets board.

In that occasion, LINEAPELLE has been asked to hold a presentation on Italian leather. The meeting, "A leather touch", was held on July 14th at Allegroitalia Golden Palace Hotel in Turin. Market scenarios were explained with images and analysis of data on the leather industry in 2015 and Summer 17 leather samples were shown.
