Hazardous substances are being increasingly regulated at various national and international levels.
Within Europe in particular, the ongoing development of the REACh regulation requires that products both manufactured and imported be carefully and constantly monitored..

The goal of the course is:

• to provide an introduction to laws, regulations and environmental labelling in the European marketplace and how to ensure customers that these are respected
• to present the main chemical restrictions established by European legislation applicable to leather items
• to explain the documentation to be produced in order to verify product compliance
• to manage the presence of substances of very high concern (SVHCs)
• real obligations
