LONDON, NEW YORK, MILAN: LINEAPELLE opens the doors to 2017
ALL SET FOR THE PREVIEWS IN LONDON (24 JANUARY) AND IN NEW YORK (1 AND 2 FEBRUARY). RENEWAL AND REINFORCEMENT FOR LINEAPELLE MILAN, FROM 21 TO 23 FEBRUARY.
The organisation machine of LINEAPELLE closes 2016 on full throttle and faces 2017 with solid plans and with the goal of consolidating its leadership on the international leather scene.
The year kicks off in London, on 24 January, with the now established appointment LINEAPELLE LONDON. At the Ham Yard Hotel a select group of about 40 exhibitors will be presenting the first developments in materials for the Spring / Summer 2018 season, whose trends will be examined in a preview during two style seminars.
The year continues, then, with LINEAPELLE NEW YORK, scheduled for 1 and 2 February at the Metropolitan Pavilion (Chelsea). This event confirms the positive figures of the two 2016 editions, hosting about 100 exhibitors and representing an exclusive chance to see how the USA, a key market for leather fashion, luxury and accessories, is evolving, having imported 12% more (in value) Italian leather in the first nine months of 2016 than in the same period in 2015 (seventh consecutive year of growth). Three style presentations are planned, enriched (1st February) by an ambitious event entitled “Disrupting Sustainability”, which will be examining the sense, practice and management aspects of sustainability right through the leather and the fashion supply chains.
Lastly, LINEAPELLE MILAN. From 21 to 23 February 2017 the pavilions of Fieramilano Rho will be welcoming a consolidated number of exhibitors, which further increased in the two 2016 editions, offering a stimulating upgrade in their trade fair experience.
The first sign of renewal is the logo, which reinforces its identity and recognisability by evolving the previous style in a contemporary manner, developing its unique and dynamic features. With other new events in the pipeline, LINEAPELLE thus reiterates its international leadership by offering more and more variety, fundamental to all players in luxury and fashion and also to all the premium sectors which are witnessing particular ferment in this complex period in time.
Major attention to style, as the summer trends for 2018 are established. After many long years of creative caution, the new trends developed by the Lineapelle Fashion Committee mark a major break away from the past, building on the theme of light, shine and iridescent tones. Style stimuli for a world, that of the leather industry, which lives in the future and sees LINEAPELLE as the unique and not-to-be-missed event where it can be discovered.
