And the winner is: Lineapelle!

Restoration of the ancient Pompei tannery is awarded a prize at the Corporate Art Awards

Lineapelle and UNIC - Concerie Italiane are more than happy to announce that their project for the restoration of the ancient tannery excavated in Pompei got a prize in Bruxelles as an example of cultural and artistic patronage and of “collaboration between the business world and the art world at an international level”.

The decision was made by the jury of the Corporate Art Awards operators, an initiative carried out for the third year in a row with the sponsorship of the Ministry for Culture and Tourism, of LIUSS Business School and supported by Confindustria, Museimpresa, ALES and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The jury, that chose the Pompei project among over 200 and awarded Fulvia Bacchi (Lineapelle CEO and UNIC - Concerie Italiane general manager) with the prize, was made up by Eike Schmidt (head of Gallerie degli Uffizi), Bartolomeo Pietromarchi (MAXXI Arte director), Stefano Pizzi (PR manager at Brera Academy of Fine Arts), Gabriel Zuchtriegel (managing director of the Archeological Park of Paestum), Gianluca Comin (board member of Biennale Venezia), Luca Desiata (Corporate Art teacher at LUISS Business School), Carlo Capoccioni (in charge of Public Affairs and Cultural Relations at ABI), Luca Pirolo (director of the Creative Business Center at LUISS Business School), Carolina Botti (ALES director), Renzo Iorio (president of the Culture and development team at Confindustria).

The restoration of the Pompei tannery has been in its second operational phase for some months. 

And the winner is: Lineapelle!
