LINEAPELLE was established in Milan in May 1981, spurred by the successful exhibitions of Preselezione Italiana Moda, an exhibition held in Florence since 1971.

The exhibition was moved to Bologna in 1986, and joined by the Autumn edition of Florence event in November 1990. Since then, the exhibition has been growing fast as a solid key event in the sector.

 

A distinctive feature of LINEAPELLE during its development has been the constant leadership in style and quality innovation, which makes it an essential tool for the world buyers of top range products. Over the years, the exhibition has become the key reference for world-known designers, who have brought the samples offered in the exhibitions at the core of their new collections.

 

LINEAPELLE now attracts about 50 thousand small- and medium-sized companies working in the leather sector worldwide, accounting for an annual turnover of 80 billion Euros.

About 40% of them – in value – are estimated to attend LINEAPELLE.
