LINEAPELLE – The collections on show Leather Materials with a classic, basic look, with finishes emphasizing their natural aspect and transparent look. Finishes won’t hide the grain and couple transparent effects with light arising from microprints, gel finishes or partial gilding. Calfskins come to the forefront, with different finishes, but above all nubuck or raised fine grains. Goatskins, also with hair for garments. Nap leather with various finishes, e.g. laserwork, coupled leather or leather combined with textiles (kashmir, wool, stretch fabric, etc.). The trend is for opaque looks: glossy finishes are produced with partial lamination, faded effects, with sequins or glints of light. Reptile prints are very popular. Pleated effects come again with nap leather, as well as wrinkled looks and removable finishes, to make room for customization. Ultra-soft reptile leather, with nubuck or very glossy finishes, lively colours or laminated effects. Textiles and synthetics come with embossed or quilted looks for upholstery, partial laminated looks (looking like sequins), synthetics coupled with leather and unusual weaves of natural materials (leather or natural rubber), lurex or waxed cotton. Accessories Small- or large-sized metal chains, with different mesh finishes. Buckles and metal parts come medium- or large-sized, with neat lines, enamel finish or rhinestones applications. Gilded finishes, with the warm tones of gold or copper. Components. Heels are 7 cm high or above, conspicuously finished or enamelled. Elongated lines, slender rounded shapes. Remarkable finishes also come with thin heels. Medium-heights start to become popular. Tips are thinner, and platforms are getting lower than in the past seasons. Bottoms get more important, coloured, laminated or made with special materials. The trend is for flexible soles, rubberized, with average thicknesses. |
