The 33rd edition of LINEAPELLE NEW YORK was held at the METROPOLITAN PAVILION on 1-2 February.  The fair was particularly dynamic with positive feedbacks and the visitors were numerous, especially on the first day.

There has been an increase in the number of visitors (+8% compared to last February edition), mainly coming from the State of New York and other States within the USA but also from Canada.

About one hundred exhibitors joined the event and presented a preview of their latest collections for Summer 2018 (leather, textiles and synthetics, accessories and components). The trend area, where the most significant samples for summer 2018 were displayed, was very popular among visitors.  The traditional trend seminars organized by the Lineapelle Fashion Committee were crowded as usual.

On the first day of the fair UNIC (Italian Tanners Association) and ICEC (Quality Institute of Certification for the Leather Sector) organized the seminar "Disrupting Sustainability" in order to promote the commitment of the Italian tanneries in the area of ​​sustainability, including cycle, work organization, social relations, communications and certified guarantees.

Next edition of LINEAPELLE NEW YORK, for the presentation of Winter 2018-19, will be held on 18-19 July 2017.
